Quaid McIver, 22, lost both of his legs in an accident in July.  He is the son of Brenda McIver, FedEx courier for the Akron office of the BX.

While Quaid is out of the hospital, his home needs extensive upgrades to accommodate his wheelchair.

His most immediate needs include:

1)  Bedroom suite with handicap accessible bathroom (labor and materials)

2)  Widening of existing kitchen (labor and materials)

3)  Doorway widening throughout the home (labor and materials)

4)  Monetary donations (Quaid has been fitted for prosthetic legs from Yankee Bionics.  Any donated funds will be used to help cover the cost of his ongoing treatment, prosthetics, and travel to his appointments.
